Exclusive OBDKey Multipin Features

Standard K Line is pin 7 for OBD-II. The OBDKey Multipin allows routing the K Line to pins 1, 3, 7, 8, 9, 11, 12 and / or 13.
Standard CAN for OBD-II is pin 6 (CANH) and pin 14 (CANL). The OBDKey Multipin allows routing the CANH Line to pins 1, 3, 6 and / or 12.
The OBDKey Multipin allows routing the CANL Line to pins 8, 9, 1, 13 and / or 14. CANL to Ground (for single wire CAN) is also supported.
Upgradeable firmware. Updates available to add new features to the already stable and well proven OBDKey core firmware. Keeping your OBDKey adapter up to date and protecting your investment.
Battery saving technology which prevents the OBDKey from keeping the vehicle ECU systems awake for longer than is really needed. Regular battery checks should be carried out if you leave any device permanently connected to your vehicle.

Example uses
Allow low speed CAN diagnostics (Fiat 500 etc) by routing CANH to pin 1, CANL to pin 9 and K Line to pin 12.
Allow ABS and Power Steering diagnostics by routing the K line to OBD connector pins 1, 7, 9 and 12 on the car.
Allow airbag diagnostics by routing the K Line to OBD connector pin 3 on the car.
Allow MS-CAN / BHCAN diagnostics by routing the CANH line to pin 3 and the CANL line to pin 11 on the car.
Allow high speed CAN diagnostics (Fiat 500X etc) by routing the CANH to pin 12 and CANL to pin 13 on the car.
Allow single wire CAN diagnostics (GM/Opel) by routing the CANH to pin 1 and CANL ground on the car.
